Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data AXO Student Living collects through this website and how it is used. It applies to the room enquiry form, the viewing booking form and the contact form.

What we collect

When you submit a room enquiry, book a viewing or send us a message, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, and — where relevant — your property, room type, contract length and move-in date preferences, plus anything you add in a free-text message.

How we use it

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, arrange viewings, progress a booking through to a tenancy agreement, and contact you about the request you made. We do not use it for marketing you have not asked for, and we do not sell it.

Where it is stored

Your details are stored in RoomLine, the operations platform AXO's team uses to manage bookings, tenancies and residents. Sending a booking confirmation or an application link uses a transactional email provider acting solely on our instructions. When you send a form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that it came from a person rather than an automated script; it sees technical details about your browser and connection, not what you typed into the form. No third party receives your data for their own purposes.

Translating this site

If you choose a language other than English from the menu at the top of the page, the page is translated by Google's website translator. Google then receives the text of the pages you view, your IP address and your browser details in order to translate them, and sets a cookie called googtrans that remembers your choice for a year. Nothing is sent to Google while the site is in English. Choosing English again deletes the cookie.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking data for as long as it is relevant to your stay (or potential stay) with AXO, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our legal and accounting obligations. An enquiry that does not proceed to a booking is not kept indefinitely.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how it is used. To make a request, email info@axoliving.com.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It keeps your cookie choice, and the translator's googtrans cookie only if you agree to it and pick a language other than English. The Cloudflare Turnstile check on our forms is there for security, not tracking. The cookie policy lists every cookie and every item the site stores in your browser.
