Accessibility statement
Last updated 28 September 2026
We want everyone to be able to find, compare and book a room on this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, magnification or other assistive technology. This statement covers this website. The AXO buildings themselves are covered under Our buildings below.
What you should be able to do
- Zoom the page up to 400% without text disappearing off the screen.
- Use every page, menu and form with a keyboard alone. A “Skip to content” link is the first thing on every page.
- Use the site with a screen reader. Images that carry meaning have text alternatives, and form fields have labels.
- Turn off motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site stops its animations and the home page video.
- Choose a room without the 3D model. Every residence's room chooser has a List view with the same rooms, floor by floor, and it opens automatically if your browser can't show 3D.
Known problems
We know some parts of the site aren't fully accessible yet:
- White text on our red buttons has a contrast ratio of about 3.8:1, below the 4.5:1 that WCAG 2.2 asks for at that text size.
- The 3D building model can be moved with a mouse or touch but not with a keyboard. The List view gives keyboard and screen reader users the same rooms.
- The maps are provided by a third party and may not work well with a screen reader. Each residence page gives the full address and a link to directions as text.
- Translations into other languages are made automatically by Google's translator and may not always be accurate.
We're working on these. If one of them stops you doing something, contact us and we'll help you another way, by phone, email or in person.
Compliance status
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This website is partially compliant because of the problems listed above. This statement is based on our own review of the site in September 2026; the site has not yet had an independent accessibility audit.
Our buildings
Several residences have accessible rooms, shown as “Accessible” in their room types. Access into and around each building differs, so tell us what you need before you book and we'll give you the details for the residence you're considering, or arrange a viewing.
Tell us about a problem, or ask for another format
If you find a problem that isn't listed here, or you need any information on this site in a different format, such as large print or an accessible PDF, email info@axoliving.com or call 020 3307 1970. We'll reply within five working days.
If you're not happy with how we respond, you can follow our complaints procedure. You can also contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
